Safety Information

A principal objective of the NCCA is to promote and encourage the safety of members and their employees.

The NCCA encourages safety programs by and for its members and assists in implementing such programs.

Why pay someone else to help with Safety? Here’s the point: staying out of trouble with OSHA is a lot of trouble.

Keeping your documentation up to date takes time, and so does researching a safety lesson. Paying someone else to do everything usually costs a truckload of money you don't have, but you HAVE to get it done, right?

Well, that's where EEAP & GotSafety come in! At EEAP & GotSafety we pride ourselves in being able to provide a low-cost service that's hassle-free, so you can get back to what's important - doing the job.

Here’s what we do: provide a complete safety service

EEAP has been writing documentation, doing pieces of training, and inspecting for over 25 years. GotSafety is our new tracking system, using our app you can do regular safety training online from the field. Keep track of the records and fill out customs forms in a paperless system that is easy to organize and use.

Here’s the deal

SAFETY ON THE JOB IS VITAL TO SUCCESS

Nevada County Contractors' Association provides FREE Construction Safety Information for our members!  Construction Safety posters, pamphlets, model programs, and more are available. A culture of safety is a measure of your workers’ skills and craftsmanship.

A variety of safety posters, brochures, newsletters, and similar materials are available free to all members of the NCCA. Additional safety articles and tips are provided by NCCA to communicate to its members through our Weekly Bulletin.

Workplace Postings

In California, all employers must meet workplace posting obligations. Workplace postings are usually available at no cost at the NCCA for all NCCA Members. The Department of Industrial Relations requires employers to post information related to wages, hours, and working conditions in an area frequented by employees where it may be easily read during the workday. Additional posting requirements apply to some workplaces.

Annual Safety Seminars

NCCA provides a host of educational safety seminars and workshops throughout the year to help our members increase safety awareness among their employees and staff.
