When you elect to “begin the process” of getting access to the plans, you will be connected to the Design Professional who prepared and owns the plans. This professional can work with you to prepare the plans for your unique property. However, challenging topography, soils, and site conditions may require additional design work outside of master planning. There are many steps to get a “site plan” ready for your property and the Design Professional will walk you through this. For more information, please email office@nccabuildingpros.com.

Step 1 – Select a design that you like. 
Step 2 – Read and agree to the terms and conditions 
Step 3 – Fill out your contact info and which design you like
Step 4 – NCCA will put you in contact with the Design Professional
Step 5 – Design Professional will work with you to create a site plan and plan submittal set
Step 6 – Design Professional will submit plans to the County for approval and permit issuance

These plans were previously approved by Nevada County Building Department but will need to be updated to meet current codes. If interested in one of these plans, the design professional who prepared the plans will guide you through the plan update and permit process.

The Christenson home is a Single level Country style construction, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage open floor plan residence which can be modified to the owner’s needs both inside as well as outside. The main part of the house has a great open floor plan for the client's entertaining needs, front covered entry porch and a drive-through 2 car garage. This home can be an ADU.

High Ridge Home


The High Ridge ADU home is a Single level Contemporary construction, 2-bedroom, 1-bath, single-car garage residence which can be modified to the owner’s needs both inside as well as outside. The main part of the house has a great open floor plan for the client’s entertaining needs.

Havens Home

The Havens home is a Single level Mountain Ranch style construction, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage open floor plan residence which can be modified to the owner’s needs both inside as well as outside. The main part of the house has a great open floor plan for the client's entertaining needs, front covered entry porch, and a rear covered deck.

Voss Home

The Voss home is a Single level Ranch style construction, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, open floor plan residence which can be modified to the owner’s needs both inside as well as outside. The main part of the house has an open floor plan for the client's entertaining needs, front covered entry porch, and a rear-covered Porch.

The floor plan can easily be modified to add a 2nd bedroom additional space.

Torrey Pines House

The Torrey Pines House is a wood-frame Single Story open floor plan home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The house is designed to be situated on a slab-on-grade foundation and features an extensive covered patio. This home also qualifies as an Accessory Dwelling Unit. It is a 1,000 sq. ft., 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, with a 144 sq. ft. covered porch.

Malakoff House

Malakoff is a wood-frame Single Story open floor plan home with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The house is designed to be situated on a raised foundation. In addition, the plan includes a 2-1/2 car detached garage. The plan can be modified as required by the Owner.

Tilden House

The Tilden House is a wood-frame Single Story open floor plan home with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an office. The house is designed to be situated on a raised foundation and features an entry deck with steps.

Cannon Home

The Cannon ADU is a Single level slab on grade Craftsman-style construction, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, wrap-around covered porch, and open floor plan residence which can be modified to the owner’s needs both inside as well as outside. The main part of the house has a great open floor plan for the client’s entertaining needs. This plan has no Garage attached and was designed to have a detached garage. The construction method is quite unique using conc ICF block walls or can be modified to build a standard stud framing method.
